About the property

Hacienda Los Olivos is a working agricultural business with an exceptional house on it, and it is important to understand it in that order. Fourteen thousand producing olive trees across two hundred hectares, an on-site mill, and a Denominación de Origen certification that took the previous owner six years to obtain.

The cortijo dates from 1782 and was restored in 2018 by a team that had done three comparable buildings in the Serranía. Lime plaster, chestnut beams, and terracotta floors — all original where they could be saved and correctly reproduced where they could not. Twelve bedrooms across two wings, arranged around the original courtyard.

The estate produces between eighteen and twenty-two thousand litres annually depending on the season, sold under its own label. It is not a hobby operation; it employs nine people year-round and considerably more at harvest.
